Sub-Boards

A rather nondescript cave near NightClan’s mountain border, marking one of the highest points in the territory. Inside lives a massive bat colony that hunts in the valley and often becomes prey for NightClan. NightClan warriors are careful not to hunt directly from the cave too often so as not to deplete the colony by overhunting.

A winding trail of trees with low-hanging branches. Moss for bedding can be collected here. Birds are found frequently here - so it's a good place for hunting. During Newleaf and the beginning of Greenleaf it is abundant with honey. NightClan cats also train their apprentices to climb and ambush from the low branches here.

This is a part of the Pine Forest that experienced a fire not too long ago, though long before the Clans came here. Because the Pine Forest is damper than other forests, the fire didn't get very far before dying out. However, the trees here are forever black from the ash and soot, hence why it is called Black Woods. After the fire, many herbs started to grow in plenty here and NightClan's medicine cat comes here often to look for herbs. Prey can be found here, but it isn't the best place to hunt.

These pools are really nothing more than very watered down mud, but prey sometimes comes here to drink and you can't go far without finding a few frogs around here as well. It is a good place to hunt, despite what any cat might think.

A pond within NightClan territory, close to camp, where NightClan cats get their water. It has a strange plant growing on top of it that makes it seem like it is solid ground and many cats outside of NightClan have fallen in because of this, hence why it is called Ambush Pond. Ducks can sometimes be caught here.

A clearing within the Pine Forest that is covered for a whole mouse length in fallen pine needles. NightClan cats come here to train their apprentices.
